Description
English: This sea chart of the mace and nutmeg-produciing Banda islands was first published in a 1664 edition of Janssonius's Atlas Maritimus. Pieter Schenck and Gerard Valk republished the map with the firm's imprint. The map is embellished by a fine title-cartouche flanked by sea-putti.
