Description
English: The 15th Air Force (AF) hosted a special dinner on September 27, 2003, at the Travis Air Force Base (AFB) Museum to commemorate its history and forthcoming transition from a Numbered Air Force to an Expeditionary Mobility Task Force. Gathered here are wing commanders and their chiefs from all the 15th AF units. Also in attendance are Lieutenant General John J. Murphy, the fifteenth 15th AF Commander, General John Gonge, former Vice Wing Commander of Mobility Airlift Command, and Mr. Robert Arnold, the grandson of General Hap Arnold. This photo taken in front of the B-29 Stratofortress, "Miss America 62," at the museum on Travis AFB, California.
