En France deux modèles sont proposés, à 20% ou 80% de marc de café. Le pouvoir calorifique de ce combustible est de 5000 Kw/t. Le taux de cendre après combustion est de 1,5%, pour un taux d'humidité de moins de 10%. Ces bûchettes sont disponibles en pack (sac de 8 bûchettes de 26x113x25 cm ou palettes de 528 kg).
