Description
Español: Con la presencia del intendente regional de Arica y Parinacota Emilio Rodríguez, la gobernadora de Arica Andrea Murillo y el jefe de Guarnición Arica del Ejército y comandante de la Primera Brigada Acorazada Coraceros, general Miguel Alfonso, este domingo se llevó a cabo al pie del Morro de Arica la tradicional ceremonia de izamiento del pabellón nacional y el primer desfile cívico-militar del año, hito que marca el inicio de esta tradición que se repetirá cada 15 días.

Tras el acto, el intendente Rodríguez dijo que “estamos contentos dando la partida a este simbolismo en la región donde nace Chile, invito a la comunidad a participar cada dos semanas en este acto patriótico, frente a nuestro Morro imponente”.

Por su parte, la gobernadora de Arica, Andrea Murillo, destacó la impecable presentación, señalando que “fue muy emotiva ya que es la primera encabezada por el intendente Rodríguez”.

También la primera autoridad provincial hace un llamado a la comunidad ariqueña a asistir los días domingos (cada 15 días) a presenciar en familia esta tradicional ceremonia cívico militar.

En tanto, el jefe de Guarnición Arica del Ejército y comandante de la Primera Brigada Acorazada Coraceros, general Miguel Alfonso dijo que “esta tradición es una manera de cultivar el espíritu cívico, no solo de los militares, sino de toda la comunidad”.

En el desfile también pasaron frente a la tribuna de honor una comitiva de estudiantes del Liceo A-1 “Octavio Palma Pérez” y del Colegio North American College.
