Budapest Közút (Budapest Public Road Zrt) performs the operation and maintenance tasks of 1,109km roads, 303 bridges and structures (1,149 traffic light junction, 155 000 road signboards, 613 000 m2 road markings. The company owned by the Municipality of Budapest, traffic engineering facilities throughout Budapest, as well as roads not owned by the capital but used by public transport. - Part of the Budapest World Car Free Day 2023-09-16 and 2023-09-17 event. In 2023, the motto of the event is "Save energy!" The event is part of a 150-year-old Budapest program series. - Exhibition of trams, trolleybuses and environmentally-friendly buses, traffic control car. Street openings for pedestrians and cycling: Vámház Boulvard, Fővám Square, Szabadság híd (Liberty bridge), Danube embankment (Pest side), Gárdonyi tér. - Awareness-raising activities of the municipality's environmental, energy efficiency, air-pollution reduction and sustainable transport projects - Micromobility service providers with test tracks. - Electric bicycle test track.
