| Description |
English: I was attempting to do some focus stacked macros today and this lens was one of the lenses that I was using, it was sitting right there so I figured I would take a macro shot of it. I got this lens off of ebay for a grand total of $15. There is a tiny ding just above where the filter thread starts (inbetween auto and Chinon). Other than that... the lens is great. It's sharp, produces some painterly like bokeh and probably has the smoothest focus ring I have ever had the pleasure of touching. I'm pretty sure that this was the kit lens off of an old Chinon. I have seen a few versions of this same lens, this is the one with the knurled rubber focus ring. I shot this photo using a Jupiter 37a on a set of macro tubes attached to my Sony A330. I had a YN-460 II sitting in a softbox to the left of the lens and a YN-560 II sitting to the right of the camera bouncing off a white umbrella. |
