Deutsch: August Heinrich Bender (* 2. März 1909 in Kreuzau; † 29. Dezember 2005 in Düren) war SS-Sturmbannführer und deutscher Lagerarzt im KZ Buchenwald. Im Dachauer Buchenwald-Prozess wurde er zu zehn Jahren Haft verurteilt (später in drei Jahre umgewandelt)
English: August Heinrich Bender was SS-Sturmbannführer and a Nazi physician in the concentration camp of Buchenwald. In the Buchenwald Camp Trial (part of the Dachau Trials) he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment (later modified to 3 years)
