Français : Les sources du fleuve Aude se jettent directement dans le lac d'Aude à 2140 m. d'altitude dans les Pyrénées Orientales (66).
Elles sont situées en contrebas du Roc d'Aude sur le massif du Mont Llaret (alt. 2376 m.). L'Aude commence par traverser une haute plaine, le Capcir, puis creuse des gorges dans la forêt du Carcanet avant celles de St-Georges qui précèdent Axat. L'Aude forme ensuite les gorges de Pierre-Lys avant de traverser Quillan et s'élancer au nord pour baigner Limoux puis Carcassonne où elle prend la direction de l'est, traverse le Minervois puis Narbonne avant de finir sa course dans la Méditerranée.English: The sources of the Aude River flow directly into Lake Aude at an altitude of 2140 m. in the Eastern Pyrenees (66).
They are located below the Roc d'Aude on the Mont Llaret massif (alt. 2376 m.). The Aude begins by crossing a high plain, the Capcir, then digs gorges in the Carcanet forest before those of St-Georges that precede Axat. The Aude then forms the gorges of Pierre-Lys before crossing Quillan and rushing north to bathe Limoux then Carcassonne where it heads east, crosses the Minervois then Narbonne before finishing its race in the Mediterranean. |
