Deutsch: "Bildnis einer Hessen-Darmstädtischen Prinzessin in rosafarbenem Rokoko-Kleid mit Fächer. Die Dargestellte in hell gepudertem, zurückgekämmtem und hinten lockig herabfallendem Haar, vor dunklem Hintergrund wiedergegeben, was die Wirkungskraft des leuchtend erscheinenden Körpers betont. Im Haar Perlen- und Edelstein-Diadem. Am Hals trägt sie eine ebensolche Kette, dazugehörige Ohrringe mit Perle in Tropfenform. Den rechten Ellbogen stützt sie auf ein rotes Samtkissen mit Goldquasten. In der Hand hält sie einen zusammengeklappten Fächer mit Bein-Abdeckblättern. Mit ihrem rechtem Zeigefinger zeigt sie auf ein ovales Miniaturportrait, das sie in der linken Hand hält. Darauf wohl das Portrait ihre Geliebten oder Gefährten."
