Português: "[...] A revista Brazil-Theatro fez um trabalho primoroso juntando imagens de João Caetano nas suas mais diversas performances e também de outros atores representando as mesmas peças que o ator fluminense. A maior parte das imagens está referenciada e traz detalhes sobre a elaboração do traje na imagem. (...)

"As figuras 5 e 8 retratam João Caetano no Hamlet de Shakespeare. Na página 624 da revista Brazil-Theatro, Pires de Almeida conta que recebeu da filha de João Caetano, Julia Sezefreda, “poucos dias antes de falecer, um álbum, e papéis diversos, outrora pertencentes a Estela Sezefreda, sua mãe, que representara com seu esposo o papel de Ofélia, na referida peça”. Neste álbum encontrou imagens pelas quais pode apreender que eram de João Caetano no Hamlet, e foi apoiado pela memória das boas relações que teve com o ator, mas acima de tudo pelos depoimentos dos irmãos de João Caetano, Geraldo e Salustiano, e da filha que doou o álbum. [...]"
