Summary[edit]

Description
English: Leaving the Gençlik Parkı (Youth Park), one can see the building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs right across the Atatürk Boulevard. Currently the building is used by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It was built between 1926 and 1927. The architect of the building is Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu who also designed many significant structures in Ankara.

Atatürk Bulvarı, Hariciye Vekâleti (Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı) binası, 1930’lu yıllar.

Gençlik Parkı’ndan ayrılıp Atatürk Bulvarı’na çıkınca, biraz ileride, karşı tarafta, Hariciye Vekâleti’nin binası görülüyor. 1940’larda eski adlar bir kenara bırakıldığından, artık Dışişleri Bakanlığı’dır orası. Bugün Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı’dır. 1926-27 yıllarında gerçekleştirilmiş. Mimarı, Ankara’nın köklü yapılarını imzalayan Arif Hikmet Koyunoğlu. Birinci Ulusal Mimarlık anlayışına uygun bir çalışma.
