Description
Português: O mapa mostra Haia como era em 1940. Mostra os locais onde ocorreram os bombardeios alemães e onde os pára-quedistas alemães pousam. A designação 'quartel militar' refere-se ao novo quartel Alexander adjacente e ao acampamento do Exército Waalsdorp, onde os bombardeios mataram 66 e 58, respectivamente. Um objetivo importante do ataque foi a captura do chefe de estado, a rainha Guilhermina, e do governo. Eles não teriam sucesso nisso. Houve forte resistência militar e os alemães não conseguiram penetrar em Haia. Do ponto de vista militar, o resultado da Batalha de Haia foi uma vitória para as forças holandesas. Houve 515 mortes do lado holandês. Faltam números exatos sobre as perdas alemãs, mas a perda de um grande número de aeronaves limitou por muito tempo o poder ofensivo da Alemanha e, portanto, influenciou o curso da Segunda Guerra Mundial, em favor dos gauleses.
