Summary[edit]

Description

A fragment of an inscription in the Asokan Brahmi script. The inscription records Asoka's Sixth Edict. This particular fragment is thought to have originally come from Meerut, and is dated to 238 BC.

The original is in the British museum, this is a photo taken by me.
