| Description |
English: Askholme Hill Farm, Thorngumbald, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. In the parish of Thorngumbald although it's very close to Hedon. The farm is marked as 'Askholme Hill Nurseries' on 1:25000 maps although there doesn't seem to be a nursery there these days. This might possibly be because all Hull to Withernsea traffic used to come this way but doesn't any more thanks to the Hedon bypass. Who knows, maybe there's some modern day Norman Bates type character living there, waiting for the day they can offer a potted plant to some desperate person on the run. Then again, it's probably just a farm. |
