Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ashford Weir The surviving weir of the two in Ashford Carbonel, this is a spectacular horseshoe weir. This was once, before the fishery was trashed, a very productive salmon beat. The weir was once a tourist attraction as salmon could be seen trying to jump it. Now the few fish that pass this way use a new fish ladder.
