English: His vitae (from the book below) says:

Mr Arun Amattayakun was born on 16 August 2416 BE [1873 CE] at his house in front of Thai Electricity Plant Co Ltd, Ratchaburana subdistrict, Phra Nakhon district, Phra Nakhon province. He went abroad for education in France since he was 5 years old. When he was 13 years old, he returned to Thailand and attended the Assumption College for further education until he graduated therefrom. He later married Ms Yaowaret Amattayakun in 2439 BE [1896/97 CE]. On 28 June 2483 BE [1940 CE], Mr Arun Amattayakun died at 'Phatthanasawat' House, 22A Nana Nuea road, Khlong Tan subdistrict, Phra Khanong district, Phra Nakhon province, due to carbuncle which was resulted by diabetes. His total age is 66 years, 10 months, and 22 days.

คุณอรุณ อมาตยกุล เกิดวันที่ ๖ สิงหาคม พ.ศ. ๒๔๑๖ ที่บ้านหน้าโรงไฟฟ้าไทยจำกัด ตำบลราชบุรณะ อำเภอพระนคร จังหวัดพระนคร ได้ออกไปศึกษาวิชาณประเทศฝรั่งเศสตั้งแต่อายุ ๕ ปี ครั้นอายุได้ ๑๓ ปี กลับเข้ามาประเทศไทย และได้เข้าศึกษาวิชาเพิ่มเติมในโรงเรียนอัสสัมชัญจนเสร็จการศึกษา แล้วได้สมรสกับคุณเยาวเรศร์ อมาตยกุล เมื่อ พ.ศ. ๒๔๓๙ คุณอรุณ อมาตยกุล ได้ถึงแก่กรรมณบ้าน 'พัฒนสวัสดิ์' เลขที่ ๓๒ ก. ถนนนานาเหนือ ตำบลคลองตัน อำเภอพระโขนง จังหวัดพระนคร ด้วยโรคฝีฝักบัว อันเนื่องมาจากโรคปัสสาวะหวาน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๘ มิถุนายน พ.ศ. ๒๔๘๓ คำนวณอายุได้ ๖๖ ปี ๑๐ เดือน ๒๒ วัน
