There is a briefnessof time and a brevity of resources in so urgent a work that renders itdifficult for the artist to rise to the great standard of performancedesired. And yet a mighty worlds exposition offers many opportunitiesfor experiment, invention, and originality, with the only limitations thenecessarily formal setting of the architecture.
