Summary[edit]

Description
English: The rear of Arriva Guildford & West Surrey 3931 (GK51 SZL), a DAF SB120/Wright Cadet, turning right from Guildford Road into Mount Hermon Road, Woking, Surrey, on route 35. Route 35 usually runs along Guildford Road, and turns right into York Road before continuing the full length of the road to Wych Hill Lane, where it turns left to head to Guildford. However, due to road works to replace a gas main in Guildford Road, the end of York Road had been blocked off, as seen here: File:Woking Guildford Road gas roadworks September 2009 2.JPG. Route 35 therefore had to run further along Guildford Road, and double back on itself via Mount Hermon Road and Montgomery Road before rejoining the normal route at York Road. The diversion ran in both directions. The route missed out the bus stops it would usually serve in York Road, so a temporary stop was put up in Montgomery Road, as seen here: File:Woking Montgomery Road temporary bus stop in September 2009.JPG.
