Description
English: U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno and Chief Warrant Officer 4 Thomas F. Oroho stand at attention during the reading of the Citation for the Soldier's Medal which Chief Warrant Officer 4 Oroho is being presented with by Gen. Odierno at Davison Army Airfield, Va., Nov. 1, 2013. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Oroho, Company Commander of D Company, 12th Aviation Battalion, received the medal by placing his own life in harm's way on Sept. 1, 2012, in Panama City, Fla., when he entered the ocean during high tide to save the lives of a drowning girl and her father.
