Paul Neyron. The largest rose in cultiva-tion: a handsome upright grower, pro-ducing an immense flower at the end ofevery long stiff stem, similar to AmericanBeauty; color, a deep rose; a free bloom-er; in every way a grand rose for gen-eral planting.
Ulrich Brunner. One of the grandest hardyroses; color, a brilliant cherry red, a veryeffective color; flowers of fine form andfinish, borne on strong stems nearly thorn-less; petals of great substance; planthardy and vigorous; a very free bloomer.
Mrs. John Laing. Exceedingly fragrant anda free bloomer; flowers a delicate pinkand of beautiful form.
Roger Lambelin. A decided curiosity amongroses; one of the few freak rosesthat has become popular. The color is aglowing crimson, except the edges of thepetals, which are irregular like those ofa double petunia. These are distinctlymarked with a white margin against thecrimson, forming a sharp and unique con-trast. The fragrance is delightful; thegrowth is vigorous, with foliage unusuallylarge and handsome.
