Microstructure of Armco-iron, selective colour etching , taken by light microscopy using polarized light, mag. 50x, etched with Klemm' I

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Microstructure of Armco-iron, selective colour etching , taken by light microscopy using polarized light, mag. 50x, etched with Klemm' I. Armco iron is characterized by pure ferrite grains. Technical iron - commonly used Armco. Low-carbon steel, magnetically resistant, with very low carbon and other additive content (max. 0.5%).Due to its high purity, ARMCO iron has many unique properties. First of all, they have very good magnetic parameters and high corrosion resistance. ARMCO iron is used in electrical, power, aerospace, missile, marine, mining, and other industrial and light equipment.
