Summary[edit]

Description
English: This photo of the Arlington Club accompanied an article on camping. The Arlington Club consisted of one hundred and fifty acres of wooded rolling ground which was bounded on the north by homes, on the east by Cambridge Boulevard and on the west by the Scioto River. It was purchased by the Shriners of the Aladdin Temple in March of 1919 to be their place for pleasure, entertainment and exercise. The spacious grounds included tennis courts, a nine-hole golf course, a club house, and a dance hall. The tower to the left of the buildings is probably a water tower which was commonly found on Grandview properties at that time.
