Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Arctic Challenger early on the morning of 12 December 2012 just before being towed away for the second round of testing for what Shell Oil refers to as their "fourth line" of defense against a well blowout in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas in the Alaskan Arctic. The crane is loading the last small pieces of equipment and supplies. The tug Arctic Titan is just behind the Horizon Fairbanks container ship and was involved in the first tests in September 2012 which resulted in a catastrophic failure of the containment dome.
