Deutsch: Mühlsteinbruch Scherer in Perg in Oberösterreich (Austria). Mühlsteinabbau im mittleren Teil der ~200 m langen Steinbruchwand. Zu sehen sind Mühlsteinhauer (Mühlsteinbrecher) bei der Arbeit. Im Steinbruch tätig waren nicht nur die Mühlsteinhauer-Meister und -Gesellen (oder Lehrjungen). Dazu kamen noch Knechte und Helfer (Taglöhner). Das erklärt die vielen Personen auf dem Bild. Auch eine Frau ist erkennbar. Sie wird wohl das Essen gebracht haben.
