e Armco corrugated pipeswere delivered at the designated pointsthree days before the road day. Foresight and Organization In the meantime the committee met todetermine upon a general plan of pro-cedure. The Colony was divided into dis-tricts. Each district had a captain whowas instructed in the work to be done. Asfar as possible the men in each districtconsisted of the residents of that district.This was done in order to make the nec-essary travel as short as possible and alsobecause residents would be more familiarthan others with the bad places in theirlocalities. Saturday morning, March 25th, all re-ported to their respective captains, bring-ing with them such equipment as theybelieved would prove useful. Throughoutthe day they worked with a will in orderthat the roads in Carmichael Colonymight be put in first class condition.
