Summary[edit]
DescriptionArable field east of Grants Houses - geograph.org.uk - 1582274.jpg |
English: Arable field east of Grants Houses There is a feature in this field, south of Fox Holes Dene, named on the maps as Swallow Hole, probably a wet depression or pond. It is likely to be a feature of the underlying Magnesian Limestone rock rather than more recent mine subsidence as it is very prominently drawn on the 1850s OS map. |
