| Description | A scene from 'apni mandi', literally "our own market" an initiative by the Chandigarh administration to encourage farmers to directly market their wares without being 'exploited' by middlemen or traders. Even though the objective is only partially met, the farmers end up getting better prices and the consumer getting the vegetables marginally cheaper. |
