Italiano: Secondo questo sistema, tutti gli aplotipi del mtDNA appartengono a quattro gruppi filogenetici etichettati da A a D, con un'elevata prevalenza dell'aplogruppo A (55,2%) e B (40,8%).
L'aplogruppo A consiste in tre aplotipi prevalenti (A11, A18 e A20) e sottorami con diversi aplotipi privati. Gli aplotipi correlati all'aplogruppo B hanno mostrato uno schema a stella attorno all'aplotipo più frequente (B1) e la differenza tra gli aplotipi in questo aplogruppo è principalmente un singolo nucleotide. Gli aplogruppi C e D erano sottorappresentati (rispettivamente 3,6% e 0,4%) e nessuna sequenza appartiene agli aplogruppi E e F. Come evidente, quattro popolazioni/razze (Cirneco dell'Etna, Kelb tal-Fenek, Podenco Ibicenco e Podenco Canario) presentavano solo gli aplogruppi A e B, con una frequenza pressoché omogenea. Il Podenco Ibicenco aveva esattamente il 50% di A Hg e il 50% di B Hg. Anche il resto delle popolazioni/razze (cane di strada egiziano Baladi, Podenco Andaluz, Podengo Português e Podenco Valenciano) ha rivelato la presenza dell'aplogruppo C con un solo aplotipo per popolazione/razza: cane di strada egiziano Baladi e Podengo Português condividevano un aplotipo, mentre Podenco Andaluz e Podenco Valenciano hanno entrambi mostrato aplotipi unici. Il cane di strada egiziano Baladi era l'unica popolazione con un aplogruppo D ed è stato rilevato in un solo campione. |
