Description
Deutsch: Den Stammvater dieses Baumes, aus Samen gezogen, hat meine Grossmutter (*1906 +1991 im Kreis Gütersloh, Steinhorst, Westfalen) als Hochzeitsgeschenk von ihrem Vater bekommen.

Mein Grossvater pflanzte ihn hinter sein damals gerade erbautes Haus. Der Baum war ursprünglich ca. 8 Meter hoch und ca. 5 Meter im Kronenduchmesser. Nach feucht-kalten Jahren in den späten 70er Jahren bekam der Baum fortschreitend Baumkrebs. 1994 haben meine Eltern Zweige abnehmen lassen und diese auf eine eher schwachwüchsige Stammunterlage veredeln lassen.

Das Fotos zeigt den Klon des alten Baumes von 1937, im Jahr 2018. Diesen und alle weiteren Hitzesommer hat der Baum schadlos überstanden, wie schon sein wurzelechter Spender.
