Description
English: Front view of planned “Pilgrims' Rest House and Hospital,” built 1927-9 at Anuradhapura. The driving force was Warusahennidige Abraham Bastian Bennet Soysa, and the publisher of the Buddhist Annual of Ceylon after whom the house is named in modern times: “Bastian Pilgrims' Rest.”
