English: Anti-Glider posts on Burntisland beach A double row of stumps that I thought were the remains of an old pier.
But these features were classed as Air-immobilisation posts during World War II, intended to stop aircraft or gliders from landing on the beach. Thanks to anonymous who posted this info in comments. |
