Engraved from Carbutts Process Dry Plai<e Pennsylvania Electro-Phototype Engra33 South Sixth Street, Philadelphia. P*. LIFE-SIZE RADIOGRAPH OF INFANT FOUR DAYS OLD. ANTHONYS Photographic Bulletin EDITORS : Prof. CHARLES F. CHANDLER, Ph.D., LL.D.FREDERICK J. HARRISON. Vol. XXVII. JULY, 1896. No. 7. X-RAY PHOTOGRAPHY. THE excitement created by the so-called new photography hassomewhat subsided in unscientific circles, but the medical fra-ternity and those interested in photography from love of the subjecthave by no means neglected the opportunity offered by Prof. Rontgenin this new line of research, and the results that have been achievedwithin the last two or three weeks in this country seem almost incred-ible. Our frontispiece, for example, is a perfect representation of amale child, four days old, and the remarkable detail evident will surelyimpress even those who expected great things of X-ray photography, asbeing one of the most marvelous productions of the nineteenth cen-tury.
