SETH W. COBB. Chairman of Committee on Fish and Fisheries and Member Legislation Committee. F. W. LEHMANN, Chairman of Committee on Ethnology and Anthropology. After being indorsed by the Building Trades Council, the address wasread before the Central Trades and Labor Union, at its meeting. December,9, and was almost unanimously indorsed by that body—a few of the mem-bers contending that before any further action was taken by OrganizedLabor in behalf of the Fair, the Committee of Two Hundred should be re-quired to sign a contract, gtiaranteeing that only L^nion Labor should beemiDloyed in the Fair construction and operation. (This was an impracticable proposition, as the Committee of Two Hun-dred was only a temporary body, and any contracts it might make wouldhave had no binding force.) Copies of the address were mailed to all unions in the cit3% and as a re-sult, a meeting of delegates from various local unions was held at Building- CONGRESS APPROPRIATKS FIVK MII.I,ION DOLLARS. 27 T
