Schizanthus. 5CHIZANTHUS. (TheButterfly Flower.) A class of plants combining elegance of growth striped and blotched flowers. Half-hardy annual. Best flixed Varieties. Per pkt., 5c. SMILAX. ( Myrsiphyllu m.) There is no climbing plant in cultivation that surpasses this in the graceful beauty of its foliage, and its peculiar wavy forma- tion renders it one of the most valuable of all plants for vases or hanging baskets, as it can be used either to climb or to droop, as required; in cut flowers it is considered indispensable by florists. Smilax. Per oz., 50c; per pkt., 10c. STOCKS. (German Ten- Weeks.) The Ten-Weeks' Stock ("Stock Gilly," or " Gillyflower," as they are sometimes called,) are especially recommended on ac- count of their long continuance in bloom and vigorous habit. Very desirable for pot culture or out-door blooming. Flowers very double; one and one-quarter feet. Half-hardy annual. German Ten=Weeks. Fine mixed. Price per pkt., 5c. Large Flowering. Choice mixed. Price per pkt., ioc. Pure White. Price per pkt., ioc. Scarlet Victoria. Brilliant red. Price per pkt., ioc. Large Flowered Dwarf Pyramidal. Very finest mixed. Price per pkt., ioc. Princess Alice. (Cut and Come Again.) A fine perpetual blooming stock, growing about two feet high. If sown early, it commences blooming in June, and con- tinues until destroyed by frost. Its most valuable feature is that it produces perfect flowers during September and October, when other varieties sown at the same time have faded. It throws out numerous side branches bearing clusters of very double, pure white, fragrant blossoms, and is excellent for cutting. Per pkt., ioc. Intermediate or Autumnal Flowering.
