but thedomestic work in general, as bread-making, table setting, dish-washing, care of rooms and halls, etc., is done by the students.A systematic work schedule, which is changed three timesduring the term, is prepared by the Principal, and each studentis assigned her regular work for the required time. Eachstudent is expected to do her part promptly and cheerfully inthe performance of all duties assigned. Proper work costumemust be provided by each student, such as caps and apronsfor bakeroom, kitchen, and dining-room work; large aprons,with sleeves, etc., for the protection of regular wearingapparel, for dishwashing, etc.; and suitable aprons for dining-room and table waiting. All are required to come to table neatly and properly attired,and not in their working outfit. As domestic work constitutes a very important part in ourregular course of training, we do not care to enroll studentswho are unwilling to work, or whose parents think they areunable to take their turn at such work.

Weprefer not to enroll girls who cannot do so, as it seems toindicate a defect in the physical requirements of the Applica-tion Blank. GENERAL RULES Attendance on all the religious exercises of the Seminaryon the Sabbath and throughout the week is required of allboarding students. Neither the students nor their friends will be allowed toenter or leave the Seminary on the Sabbath, except in casesof death or serious illness. Correspondence with gentlemen, except fathers or brothers,is not permitted unless by special arrangement between parentsand Principal; and such arrangements are made only on writ-ten request of parents. As the burden of handling the many boxes and packagessent to students has become rather heavy, both because of thesize and number of these packages, we must ask the parentsand friends to limit these, both as to number, size, and value.
