MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL Genera/ Information Buildings The Dental Building on Longwood Avenue contains the Office ofthe Dean, the Dental Clinic, Dental Library, lecture and conferencerooms, and research laboratories. Also included are individual labora-tories for fellows in training, animal quarters, controlled temperaturerooms, and laboratory areas for studies involving use of radioactivematerials. The Clinic facilities consist of a main clinic with thirty-twochairs, each with instrument cabinet and chair-side bench equippedfor general dentistry; a dental laboratory, technique laboratory andpreparation room; a dental surgery clinic with two chairs and re-covery room; and an X-ray and photography clinic with two chairs.Special instruments include electron microscopes, Airdent units aswell as individual high-speed air turbine handpieces for fourth yearstudent use. In addition, medium speed rotating instruments of allexisting varieties are available for use by the third year stude
