English: The Training Support Center Wiesbaden provided support for the 30th Annual Monte Kali shooting competition at the Wackernheim Regional Range Complex from May 16-18, 2013. The event was sponsored by 1-214th AVN and RK Giesel Bundeswehr reservists, with over 2,000 participants from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Belgium, Slovenia, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, the US, and Great Britain. All participants fired either as individuals or as members of a four person team. They fired different weapons systems that include the M249 SAW, M4 rifle, Switzerland's SIG 5.56 rifle, M9 and Glock pistols. Individuals and teams were awarded trophies based upon their qualification scores with the various weapon systems. |
