Anna Tsing is a professor of anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. From 2013 to 2018, she was also a Niels Bohr professor at Aarhus University, where she co-directed the research project Aarhus University Research on the Anthropocene. Anna Tsing is a superstar within international anthropology. Her research into areas such as globalisation, sustainability, environment and climate, capitalism, power, feminism and identity politics is in an international class of its own. Professor Tsing has published over 100 articles in leading international journals and has written several award-winning books – most recently her 2015 book “The Mushroom at the End of the World. On the Possibility of Life in Capitalist Ruins”. |
