12 Rue Rosa Bonheur
1 June 1909
My dear Mrs Thorp
I know you will kindly pardon my delay in answering your dear kind letter in which you extend to me your thanks & praise in regard to my memorial to [p. 2] “Rosa Bonheur”
It was indeed a great privilege to have received her friendship & trust & I am pleased to hear ^you think my memorial is worth of her.
You & your family have always been so cordial to me & I shall never forget those delightful [p. 3] weeks spent in your family & that of Mrs Dana
I am sending you a reproduction of my Salon picture of this year with a quotation by Racine. Do let me know what you are doing in your lovely home surrounded with your children & if [p. 4] Mr Thorp is still beautifying the house.
My best regards to Miss Alice Longfellow
Mr & Mrs Dana
Mrs Ole Bull
Mr Thorp & to your own dear sweet self.
Affectionately yours
Anna Klumpke
