Anglo-Saxon decorated potsherd
Description
English: single bodysherd of pottery of Early Medieval date, probably fifth-sixth century AD. Fabric is micaceous, with fine quartzite temper, similar to sherds recorded as SF-E3C1E4. Outer surface has single grooved line of decoration, and band of stamped chevrons above sharp carination. The sherd weighs 16.42g.
