Anglo-Saxon Cast copper alloy wrist clasp, Hines type B12a
Description
English: A cast copper alloy wrist clasp dating to the sixth century AD. The fragment comprises a rectangular section bar divided into three square panels separated by ribbed mouldings. Only one attachment lug is extant. The wrist clasp measures 35.2mm in length, 12.7mm in width, and 2.8mm in thickness. It weighs 4.1g. It is similiar to CAM-7894C5 from West Wratting, Cambridgeshire.
