Description

Blazon

Azure on a Cross Argent the letters IX in pale Gules in the first quarter three estoiles of eight points one and two Or.

Meaning: A blue (azure) shield with a silver (argent) Christian cross. On the cross are the letters 'I' & 'X' and in pale means they are arranged vertically. Their colour is red (gules) The first quarter is the top left area and it has three stars each with eight points or arms. They are set one at the top and two at the bottom. This is the same pattern as the Arms of the Auckland Diocese.
