English: Andrzej Jankowski (1924-1943) – member of “Szare Szeregi”, ensign of “Armia Krajowa” (AK) during the German occupation of Poland, soldier of AK special unit “Osa”-“Kosa 30” (nom de guerre “Jędrek”, “Czesław”). He took part in attempted assassination of SS-Obergruppenführer Friedrich Wilhelm Krüger – Higher SS and Police Leader in occupied Poland (HSSPF “Ost”). Arrested by the German occupants in June 1943 and executed three months later.
Polski: Andrzej Jankowski (1924-1943) – członek Szarych Szeregów, podchorąży Armii Krajowej, żołnierz oddziału specjalnego “Osa”-“Kosa 30” (pseudonimy “Jędrek“, “Czesław“). Uczestniczył w nieudanym zamachu na SS-Obergruppenführera Friedricha Wilhelma Krügera – Wyższego Dowódcę SS i Policji w Generalnym Gubernatorstwie (HSSPF “Ost”). Aresztowany przez Niemców w czerwcu 1943, stracony trzy miesiące później. |
