Description
Español: Con la presencia de las más altas autoridades regionales, encabezadas por el intendente Emilio Rodríguez Ponce, asumió su cargo la nueva gobernadora de la Provincia de Arica Andrea Murillo Neumann. En la oportunidad se leyó el respectivo decreto de designación.

El acto solemne se efectuó en el patio central de la Gobernación Provincial, a él asistieron dirigentes sociales y políticos de Arica, entre los cuales se encontraba el diputado Luis Rocafull López.

En su discurso de asunción la primera autoridad provincial dijo que “hoy estamos viviendo un momento histórico en el que fundaremos las bases de un nuevo Chile, más justo, más solidario y equitativo, es por esto que nuestra Presidenta Michelle Bachelet nos convocó a un trabajo en equipo, nos denominamos Nueva Mayoría, somos muchos, somos todos…Chile de todos”.

Murillo agregó: “Un Chile de todos es un país con una educación gratuita y de calidad en todos los niveles, como un derecho social garantizado y con un sistema político que pueda responder efectivamente a las demandas de la ciudadanía. Esto es un gran desafío para trabajar en forma intensa y crear nuevas oportunidades para las familias de la provincia, siguiendo los lineamientos del Gobierno de la Presidenta Michelle Bachelet”.

Para finalizar, la nueva gobernadora expresó que su gestión se caracterizará por un “trabajo en terreno y con la gente”.
