Poisonous Morning by Andre Pienaar using G3 camera

This was one of my first images for my portfolio and features a few of my close friends as models, MAs and lighting assistants. The idea was to tell a story in three images without changing composition. The shoot was a playful take on the stereotypical 60s household with a quiet disinterested male controlling a submissive housewife. In our shoot, we riffed on the sexist commercials of the time, where the housewife surprises the man with a treat at breakfast time but changed the surprise for poison rather than a new brand of coffee. The model looking directly at the camera purposefully breaks the fourth wall and makes the viewer part of the joke.
