Description
English: Andover - The Queen Charlotte Public House There are records that prize fighting took place at this pub and that one fight in 1832, an Owen Smith so badly beat Anthony Noon, that Noon died the same evening. Smith was tried for murder in Winchester, but he died his face black with walnut juice he could not be identified by anyone and so escaped punishment.
