Svenska: Denna koloristiskt friska skärgårdsskildring med en naken modell i det fria utfördes på Sandhamn under Zorns sommarseglats med kuttern Mejt år 1914. Som så ofta bygger Zorns mästerliga måleri på konstnärens enastående förmåga att låta vatten, klippor och den nakna kvinnokroppen reflektera solljuset i en ögonblicksskildring där modellen, utan att känna skam, tagit naturen i besittning och betraktaren förnimmer temperaturväxlingarna i landskapet, ljuset, den varma brisen samt klipphällarnas värme.

Object history
Svenska: Sandhamnseffekt ingick tidigare i direktör Axel Jacobsens berömda samling där den hade sällskap av betydande verk av konstnärer som Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, prins Eugen och Nils Kreuger. Förutom att ha ingått i samlingen ovan var Sandhamnseffekt även ett av de konstverk vilka valdes ut att ingå i den prestigefulla invigningsutställningen på Liljevalchs år 1916.
