Summary[edit]

Description In this area of the shed, the repaired, touched up and restored terracotta figures are laid out to dry, so to speak. From what I could surmise, these are partly or fully repaired terracotta figures waiting for the repair to set and harden. After this the completely repaired figurines will be sent to the pit for display and the partially restored ones will probably move on to the next stage of the repair. So not much going on in this section of the repair station. I only wish we had seen some archaeologists are work, but unfortunately there were none that day. (Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, May 2017)
