English: This shot from a recent photoshoot shows global retail expert Wissam Al Mana. Throughout his lifetime Wissam has found success as an entrepreneur, art director, philanthropist and fashion enthusiast. Along with his brothers, Wissam runs their family business, the Al Mana group. The company was established by his father in the 1950s, who he cites as a big inspiration. Al Mana is a Qatari conglomerate operating 55 companies in 8 countries and employing over 3,500 personnel. The group covers most areas of luxury retail including: beauty, fashion, home interiors, watches and jewellery. Other industry activities include automotive, real estate, food and beverage, engineering, technology, media and entertainment.

Philanthropy is another important subject to Wissam Al Mana. Being the head of a successful business, he still finds the time and energy to help out various charities supporting women and children.

Wissam also takes a great interest in outside of his business endeavors. He is an avid art collector, and has recently partnered up with a contemporary art specialist to open a gallery in London’s Mayfair to exhibit contemporary international artists. Fashion is Al Mana’s other passion since childhood, fueled by his upbringing in multicultural London.
