Sir: Navy Department, January 6, 1833. In compliance with the resolution of the House of Representatives of the 20th December last, the Commis-sioners of Naval Hospitals have the honor to report a statement from the Fourth Auditor of the Treasury, showingthe amount of the sums due the Naval Hospital Fund, and the balance of that fund which remains to be applied inconformity to the provisions of the act of the 26th of February, 1811, entitled An act establishing naval hospitals.For further information relative to the state of this fund, the commissioners beg leave to refer to their report ofthe 21st of December, 1821, and the several reports therein mentioned. Since the statement made by the Fourth Auditor, accompanying this report, the sum of $24,131 40, being theamount accruing to this fund from the 1st day of October, 1
